I went to Ohio U my first two and finished off at OSU, down there all the people at OU are Buckeye fans more than they are Bobcat fans. On Saturdays at OU, all you see is Buckeye gear, noone tailgates or goes to OhioU games, they all travel a hour north instead.

Going to OSU I quickly learned why their diehard fans can be quite annoying, it's because that's the only team the city of Columbus has, in 3 hour drive radius.

Columbus is direct inbetween Cincy and Cle (2hr drive from both), there is no patent NFL team but most are Bengals fans and Cavs fans

I do like OSU and Im from here in Columbus.I'm not one of those die hard fans though.I can tell you this.I can see why people would call Buckeye fans idiots.If they lose they catch things on fire and flip cars.If they win they catch things on fire and flip cars.Thats all they have to cheer for.Except the Bengals this year and the Cavs.( Browns are terrible and so are the Destroyers-Hockey ) I do root for the Bucks a little more now because my little girl is a freshman there.
