it honestly makes me sick as a fan that endures all the high and lows(mostly) of my crappy sports teams

as a real fan, i'd be pissed if i were you too.

he makes legitimate fans of the saints look bad.

even when the saints sucked balls i still remember pick and rnch making threads about them. i also remember puddles proclaiming his saints loyalty long ago despite knowing and living through how inept they've been

poboy was nowhere to be found (except in a dark alley or up the ass of whoever was winning at the moment)

Put simply, No, you cannot be a fan of two teams, especially not if being a fan of two teams means you jump ship back and forth based on whoever is doing well. I've lived in DC almost five years and you don't see me singing hail the Redskins. If I live in NC for twenty years, you won't see me claim to be a panthers fan. Sorry, it's total bunk.
 
I'll bitch and cuss throughout the game if my team is losing, but at the end, I'll clap for whoever won. Unless that means cheering for USC. Fuck Pete Carroll.
 
The Saints disowned him until he can get out of the red.

Sad, as a Patriots fan who went through the early 90's where home games were blacked out due the them sucking so bad, but still stood behind them 100%.
I did have an alternative team (bills lol), but if they played the Pats I'd be cheering for them.
 
Damn the Jets lost Jenkins and L Washington for the season. Sucks when teams lose great players.

Of course he'll make some "sorry your jets suck" comment but he has no clue about being a real fan and that it's actually a badge of pride to still vocally stand by them when times are tough. Get muddy in the tough times, shower off with some ice cold gatorade in the good. A shower when you're already clean just doesn't have the same feeling, and our shrimpy friend will never get to experience winning any other way.

PS- "nerfed." I like it!
 
all the teams i'm a fan of (pats, sox, celtics, bruins) have sucked for long periods of time since i've been following them.. and during the low points i never swapped allegiances.. mainly cause i'm not a fairweather..

i've been muddy since birth, infact I don't think i've ever taken a shower during NFL season
