make sure you get the "jasper" units..........google it and it'll show which product numbers you have to look for to make sure you're getting one of em.
I spent all sunday with my boy doing one of the rrod fixes.......didn't work. He was going to try something else so not sure if he got it up and running yet but it's doubtful. He decided to try to do it himself first cause microsoft is now being a giant j-0-0 about things. You gotta send em $100 bucks and if it breaks down again once they send it back your only recourse is to buy another one or send it to em again for another $100. Like I would think that if you spent another $100 to send it in and they fixed it, that would extend the warranty at least for a year so if you had to send it back a month later they would cover it. Nope.............they turned into sony this time around. So I don't think I'll be buying a product from either one of those companies for some time. The "jasper" units supposedly have no issues with overheating since the processors were manufactured on a smaller die. That industry is becoming a complete scam. I can't wait for cloud technology to make hardware acceleration obsolete.
