Is this a good price for...?

AAP

Is that a great buy for an empty plastic bottle?

Or would it be a better buy for .05 cents to get an ice cold full one? Is it worth the extra money?

I would think we all agree it is worth it right?

Or about this... is it worth $28 to get be allowed to sit down and look at this?

I mean, it's a nice plate and silverware right? It's nice to look at for a while before the waiter takes it away.

Would you pay $28 just for the opportunity to sit and admire it? No?
How about for $2 more, it came with a Porterhouse steak, potato, mixed greens and beverage. Would you be willing to pay an extra $2 more for that? I would definitely do that.

Here's another one... Would you pay $8 for this...

It's nice. Yeah, it generally only costs a quarter at the most everywhere else. But the question here is would you pay $8 for this one? No?

How about $9. Would you pay that? If it were filled with legit Schering primo? Would it be worth the $9 then?

Ok... this is all to make you stop and think for a minute. Consider where your money is REALLY going when you purchase things. Have you ever thought about how much the discarded, disposable pieces of a product that you purchase are accounting for the overall cost? Seriously. If the part of the product you threw away cost more than the product itself, would you still buy it? This is a very simple yes or no question.

So with that in mind.. here we go for the last one.

Would you pay $2.75 for this....

A bright shiny empty candy bar wrapper? No? Ok, what about for a quarter more, you could spend $3 and get the same wrapper with a nice sugar filled treat inside? Would that be worth it? No?

No? You wouldn't? Gee, you are a tough customer aren't you? Ok, suppose I told that inside this wrapper the extra .25 cents you were spending were for a product that helped you build muscle, lose fat, replaced a nutritious meal, was all natural, and your favorite pro - who was in the ads - achieved his level of performance because of it. Would that be enough to persuade you to spend $2.75 on just the wrapper itself with a genetic food miracle inside? Would you do it then?

No? Why not? Could it be that no such product of that nature exists that will cost a quarter? Such a product would cost more than the wrapper wouldn't you think?

Ok to explain why I made this post on the AAS forum. It is a bit out of frustration actually. I come on here week after week, year after year, and read (but hardly post at times - my bad) posts that simply AMAZE me concerning the level of details that people go to when they plan out their cycles. 4-5 compounds, juggling weeks when to switch out, AIs debate on which to use, when to use, how long to use, PCT theories, etc...

The details are just amazing... but yet despite all that they turn around and coast through the other 50% of the equation and that is in regards to nutrition by putting crappy ass protein bars in their mouths.

Guys spend hundreds of dollars on AAS, take enormous legal risks in obtaining and using them, risking alienating family, friends, wives, girlfriends, by using them in secret, spend hundreds of hours in the gym working on their bodies, and every day of the week is spent experiencing pain and soreness in thrashed body parts. Which is all wasted when you let crappy ass supplements that take you a step back from your goals and further away from the claims they actually make on their labels.

For those of you who PM me for cycle and training advice and never get a detailed answer, or worse, no answer at all. This is why. Nothing I tell you is going to overcome the crap you are feeding yourself with the candy bars.

So in short the CLIFF NOTES version of this post is I still can't understand why people do this when the alternative that is available to you here with Needtos Protein Bars is much better. Everything that a protein bar is supposed to be - nutritious (none of this fake shit and sugars or collagen in there), convenient (because we can't all sit down with a hot meal 6-7 times a day), and priced right. You don't get a fancy wrapper that costs more than the product, but then again you said you didn't want it.

For real guys, AAS should be the LAST option you start experimenting with AFTER you have shored up your diet and really understand what you are giving your body to work with. If you were to eliminate as much processed crap from your diet that you possibly can, you would clean out your system and your body would respond by dropping some bodyfat and water, which you will see that only ENHANCES the effects that AAS have on you. And you could get away with using smaller doses as well. In addition to avoiding placing extra stress and conflict on your system by incorporating AIs in order to combat bloat (which is NOT what they should be used for.)

Ok, my rant is over.

Tell us how you really feel aap!

hhaha..j/k

Not to mention, the cost of the better bars are far cheaper than the shit you can buy at your local grocery store.

I didn't read much but I thought the point was spend more and get HG, pharmaceutical grade rather than the UG lab crap where it's ALWAYS ALWAYS going to be a hit and miss unless you watch them making it.

LOL - I kinda just read the first section and only the first few words of each which was 'would you buy this for $'

tis one damn long post there :)

Someone didn't take their ADHD meds today?

Seriously, people kill me with this bullshit.

That has to be the highest compliment I have seen for a product in quite awhile. Alot of effort and time went into that post. Needto bars are making quite the impact here and I have to say I am preparing my third batch today. I actually got pissed off at myself for not making them last night when I looked in the fridge and they were gone this morning. I always eat one before my morning workouts and it actually threw me off this morning by not having it available.

is this a Schering primo source post?

cuz if it is tell me where the hookup is before we're both bant.

kidding. but on everything else, agreed. i still laugh at all the cycles that look like chinese algebra and yet nothing about diet and training. still amazes me how people can do a gram of test and feel fine with it. they probably look like walrus tard.

good post, and yes his bars are teh bombz.

Well it is the truth. People pay more for a shiny wrapper than they do the actual bar. You have to pay for the wrapper, the marketing, the shipping, the endorsements, etc.. So out of the amount that bar costs, how much do you actually think went into the bar itself? Not much.

How could they possibly spend much on it when all they do is load it with collagen, sugar alcohol, crap carbs and the worst fat around?

It's total bullshit when you read their labels.

But then a better product comes along, it doesn't have a fancy wrapper on it. There is no Mr Olympia holding it up in ads. Yeah, you have to spend a whopping 10 minutes making it - or 15 minutes if you are like me and tend lick everything down afterwards, the spoons, the bag, the kitchen counter, etc.. But what you do get is protein that comes from superior sources than other bars. Good carbs from the oatmeal. Healthy - heart smart - fat from the ANPB. And for how much again?

Yeah, right. Thing is, I still get PMs from people that want advice but when I question their diet they write something like "3 meals per day, couple N-Large shakes, Met-Rx protein bar, etc.."

God no wonder they are disappointed in themselves.

When AAP makes a post that not in chat, generally its a good idea to read it because there will be good info in it. He's bang on the money though, you are paying for the advertising, not the bars themselves. This is why the better supplements are made by the smaller companies that don't dump loads into advertising but dump loads into the products themselves making it all the better for you the customer.

I remember taking N-large like 3 times a day and yes it def made me large! lol. like 90 grams of suger per serving!
I used to just make my own pre shake 'meal'. whey and ground up oatmeal, it wouldn't taste the best nor had a great consistancy. I can't wait to tey out needto's bar's and other 'supps'! ;)

I think what AAP is trying to say is that you can save hundreds on car insurance by switching to Geicko! Im starting to think Im psychic. About the third or fourth "would you pay this, for this" into the post something clicked into my head and I said to myself "I hope this isnt an add for needtoes better bars" but sure enough. I dunno, Im really weary of products on boards that are advertised by sponsors. Im not saying this is the case so dont eat me. So anywho, me myself i have been trying to make my own bars. I was doing them all natural. I bought fresh fruit from the store. I dehydrated the fruit. I cut it up into nice little bar sized chunks. I baught all natural granola. I got some great protein. I used all natural peanut butter. I tried all kinds of different recipes that where all natural. I even tried vegetable bars with my dehydrated vegetables. I knew exactly what was in them so that was cool but there was just one problem. No matter what recipe I tried they didnt come out right. It didnt matter if it was a cool in fridge to set recipe or if it was a bake in the oven recipe. all of them came out like shit. The ones that were set in fridge always turned into a pudding consistency at room temperature, and all of the ones that were bake came out like.......well i would have done better to just blend the contents of the bake ones and drink. So i think im gonna give your bars a try. From what i hear you can add stuff to them. I really want to incorporate my dehydrated fruits and maybe my dehydrated vegetables into them, not so sure about the last idea thoug. Do you got it like that to get 20% off those bars if i PM you? haha, kidding. but not really!
