Considering the amount of money they have lost no bonuses seems like a fair trade to me...

Not all companies or divisions within those companies are going down the tubes.
Which is why I personally had no problem with that AIG retreat thing that was in the news a few months back. They were rewarded the managers/top producers in their annuity division. The division had absolutely nothing to do with the other division that got involved in subprime mortgages and, even to this day, remains one of the most consistently profitable annuity companies in the world.
They did nothing but good things and had nothing but good results. The money used to pay for the retreat came from the profits made from within their division, not the government. Shouldnt they be rewarded?
