They sunk money into the company while it was losing profits... The one defining moment that turned the company around was the Forest vs. Griffin fight.

Yup...They were about to sell the company for pennies on the dollar. Then the ferretis decided to try one more thing. The Ultimate Fighter. Smart Move...Seeing how today Reality TV is so popular it really took them to the next level.
