New to the forum, just wanted to say hi and know who's from Montreal here?

New to the forum, just wanted to say hi and know who's from Montreal here?

Just to start off I'm not a Lurker or Troll as they call it. I am really dedicated
to my training and Mixed Martial Arts.

I thought it would be cool to find some members in Montreal like myself
to chat with.

About me, I'm in my early thirties, have been training for 15yrs and competed
in organized sports like football, hockey and mixed martial arts.

I've struggled through a finally resolved medical condition for the past ten
years which sent me through periods of large amounts of muscle
gain/loss, fat gain and loss, depression etc....

But finally I'm achieving my fitness/physique goals having lost 5inches
on my waist shrinking from 227lbs to about 197lbs in 4 months. This
weight gain was caused by a medication unfortunately out of my control.

What really sucks is that people including women recently had judged
me on my weight. Now that I've lost the weight, the same people are reacting
to me much more positively and friendlier.

My personality never changed, I was still that funny, good lookn' guy who
people that I closely know loved to be around, but the dating life really
took a toll despite explaining it was from a medical condition.

I even got to the point of hooking up and fooling around with one incredibly
fit woman who after a month dumped me for a 250+lb juiced up body builder.

I have always had a lot of muscle mass and strength, but losing the fat has
been a struggle.

Any how, I don't want to sound like I'm rambling off but I just wanted to share
my training experiences.

For anyone having problems with weight loss, struggling through a medical
condition, or problems building up,

I'd love to hear from you and share what helpful and healthy techniques
I've discovered including supplements.

Hope you're all having a great day!!

Hey Wootooom,

Not the response I expected LOL but on a positive note I'm still a dedicated gym rat, always have been, always will be.

I started up with MMA to help me cut down as I had plateaued
recently.

Do you mostly just hit the gym? What type of routines do you do?

Peace guy,
