So I think I strained an ab muscle yesterday.

I was DL'ing (not even heavy, damnit) and felt a little pop right under my ribskind of between my abs and obliques. It feels like a bruise instead of any kind of spasm or anything. Anyone ever go through this? How long does it take to go away?
 
No, however how much weight were you using.. I do that all the time and never heard of someone pulling something other than using heavy weights...
 
hernia? is there swelling? Did ou post this in weightlifting and did you consult a doctor? Oh and your age, weight, height, shoe size, glasses, uh...... type of socks......... and your social security number........... that will get us goinng at this for you.

I was just pulling 275lbs. I've switched to higer reps recently. It doesn't feel that heavy to me.

No swelling, just fgeels like I got punched. No doctor, they'd say to rest.
