that you love them

You know my lunatic upstairs neighbor I've told you all about?!
Well last night I found out her son-in-law has hours to live
Last Friday, he woke up with a fever, then felt some chest pain. He went to the ER and they found out he had a form of the flesh eating bacteria. Don't know the name of the bacteria, but it destroyed one entire lung in 24 hrs and has now destroyed 90% of his other lung. He was on morphine yesterday and I'm sure as I type this, he's passed.
I was told he didn't feel sick at all the day before, but just woke with a fever.

When I saw my upstairs neighbor last night, I went up and hugged her.
She told me her daughter and son in law had the perfect marriage, never would fight, and we so in love. Which was true cause I would see them all the time together and giggling like kids. They've been married 20 yrs and he is (was) only 46.
The daughter is in such shock, she can't even function.

Makes you think how fragile we really are.......

hugs to all of you freaks

My Dad always taught me that I'm expendable growing up. I like that lesson better. It makes me realize the value of time.

I went up to NY to visit my relatives this summer. My favorite aunt is the youngest out of her 7 brothers and sisters - she is the nicest person in the world. She looked healthy and normal. We just got the news she has breast cancer and it has already been removed but it was in her lymph nodes and has spread already. I was lost when I heard the news. I am sure she will recover but it shows how quickly life can change. It huts to get news like this.

Sorry about your aunt. I'm sure she will recover. Sometimes these suprises are a wake up call and bring us to a better place.
I know a few people who had cancer and were given months to live. They lived and said their cancer was the best thing to ever happen to them
Actually, many survivers of illness say this.
I have hope for your Aunt :-)
