Needs the bar at the top so u can go back to different parts of the forum like where it says forums>steroid discussion>what do you guys....

Needs the black dot back every forum has the arrow and its hard to find your post with the whtie arrow, atleast make the arrow black.

When those 2 things are back in order i can get use to it, but personally the old one was better.
 
Love it. Ease of use. Nothing drastic to confuse but like a new paint job but, also, a brand new heavy duty engine under the hood.

What's not to like?
 
1. I seriously, seriously hate the fact I need to use the bottom scroll bar to see the full width of anything.

2. Who thought the quote box would be better fagged up?

3. Finally, the old profile page was better.

I wish it had a button to go back to the classic look, people who like the new look can keep and people that think it sucks and is hard on the eyes can use the classic view ....

I think it looks more prof guys....it's faster as well.

But, I still need to discover all the extra features.

if you do not like it, post your reasons why....

if enough of us do not like the new format maybe our voices will be heard,,, or at least some of the problems fixed,,, the biggest problem for me is i have to scroll left and right just too see everything,, and if i shrink it down then its too small.. bugs the hell out of me...

george is a good guy and does listen so write what bothers you.....

everyone seems to ignore my number 1 thing i dont like about the new forums wheres the bar at the top!!! where it says like elitefitness fourms>steroids>do you like the new forums poll

I had to scroll left and right if someone posted big pictures but that is all.. I dont mind the new set up its nice.

I think if everyones font was a BIT bigger or BOLD or something it would be VERY nice. I think the font size now IS a bit small or thin or something...

For all I know it may be because I'm using an older computer/OS. That's what I'm trying to figure out.

I just think that the old way was better overall. This "new" system actually seems much less advanced. The older forum style set this board apart from the rest. Bottom line, I do not like the new features, at all.

buy a mac, you can change the font on the scroll pad with a mac.


As for the new look, well it looks more modern and cleaner so far.

Like the cleaner look. Words are easier to read for my old eyes.
Generally hate drastic changes though.
Hate that they took my crowns away. Took forever for a non plat to acquire even one, then bam all 6 gone!!! LOL @ myself for bitching about this 3 times already.

Holy crap, 90 seconds between searches if you are not Plat! this might actually worth me being plat again. I was for 3 years and never got any hits or replies to my threads. I dropped my plat and got all kinds of love, maybe I will have to pull out the wallet again.

I like the new look just wish it had the forum drill down menu on the top to go back easier.
 
It's a cleaner look, but seems to be a little harder to read. Is the lettering smaller? I guess I'll get use to it.

i think its good, looks nice and fresh/crisp. still easy to navigate, although it doesnt feel as "homely" (gay!) as before? im sure i will get used to it though. also, is it just me, or can anyone else not click on links that have been posted?

i still rate it better then the old ef because of the new options ..i love the new profiles and youtube vidoes are easy as hell to put up now,when i figure out the rest ill like it even more lol .if they made the font bigger and gave some color to the background it would be even better:biggrin:

Yeah I noticed that too. A lame ass attempt at getting people to buy plats if you ask me. I just lost respect for the guy running this place.

I dont like it. the ohter way was more compact and made it easier and faster to find what your looking for.But like Swole said I guess we will all have to adjust.
 
Yay the crowns are back :)

I like all the new features of the improved forum engine (for techies, it looks like a lot more ajax which is nice)

Not sure if I like how all the forum topics in the main forum pages have that gloss/fake 3d look. Kinda makes them hard to read.

Also the coloring on the quotes makes them harder to read.

But I guess I'll get used to it over time.

I like it. Looks great actually. Some people see crowns and others don't which is weird, but other than that, it's pretty slick
 
Overall I like it. One gripe because I'm lazy and impatient - avatar size needs to be scaled down. It takes a lot of scrolling to read all the posts when they are only one line and the rest of the box is all white space. The majority of posts take up my entire screen.

Edit: Hmm, even my post almost takes up my entire screen, lol. Wish there was a way to condense the post box. Just seems like an entire waste of space.

We needed to upgrade in order to make the forums faster and to accommodate the ever increasing size of the database and to add new features. Please let me know the specifics of what you do not like and I will get our team on it.

This is a very cool new feature called social bookmarking. It allows you to share posts here with other people around the world who may not be members of EF.

For example, let's say Rick Collins decides to publish an article here about decriminalization of steroids. Those links allow that article to escape the confines of EF so the world will get access to it and we can make our point of view known.

1. I agree with this one: The bottom scroll bar must be used to see the entire screen. The style needs to be 'liquid' at a less wide width. We'll get on this - I hate it too.

2. Could you be more specific?

3. We are still working on the profiles page. Take a look at the new page and let me know what you like and do not like.

Actually, it is there, take a close look, but the hyphens between the links needs to be replaced with a graphic. We are on this one.
 
Looks great...but I hate the long wait time inbetween clicking the "new posts" button. It used to only be like 10 sec.

In IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Browsing History, Delete, Delete cookies, then log in again.

Can you still not see your crowns? I see all six - and thank you for supporting the site as a Platinum Member by the way.

If they are still gone for you, you might give this a try:
In IE, go to Tools, Internet Options, Browsing History, Delete, Delete cookies, then log in again.

I agree with you, but am not sure how to fix this. Perhaps giving the option to have the member info over the post instead of to the left for those who want that.

Is this when you start a new thread or when you post in an existing thread. Is it when you click the reply button or click the submit button - it seems faster to me right now.

No...I'm talking about the "new posts page" on the toolbar at the top.

Its to see what new posts have been made on the forum. It used to be a 10 second wait inbetween, now its 90 seconds.

I know if your platinum it goes away, but 90sec. seems a bit much for non plats.
 
the karma bookie section has a problem .. it does not display the teams u can pick to bet on, next to the odds ..

I would have to agree. The old colors were good. Is it easy to change just the colors a little without scrapping the whole theme?
 
Im also starting to get used to the quote boxes. At first they were hard to read, it was almost like my brain skipped over them because they are light colored with light text.
