Crizal Lenses -- Anyone Have any Experience?

I Told You So ...

Title says it all. Hubby needs to get new glasses (he can't wear contacts and LASIX is not an option). So anybody have experience with Crizals? They sound too good to be true, which automatically makes me suspicious of them.

Call that russian doc from Minority Report for total eyeball transplant and free milk and sandwhich

nan has a pair...

OMG you fuckers are more useless than a 95 year old man's dick.

You're surprised?
Nope, just astonished at the percentage of the population that could be taken out back and shot with no appreciable impact on society because they're that self involved.

Fuck everyone in this thread

Back atcha.

I'll refrain from commenting on the quality of your most recent tattoo because I'd consider that hitting below the belt.

I answered your question in post #13. Won't do anything for his vision unless he's having trouble driving with headlights in his eyes.

I have lenses that do nothing but correct astigmatism with the glare coating and I only really use them when driving int he rain.

Alright, alright, my bad ...

I'm sick to christ of spending $500 on anti-glare/anti-scratch and treating them like they're made out of gold and platinum only to have the fucking things scratch within 12 months despite the fact they NEVER get wiped. He cleans his glasses by running them under a faucet and patting them dry with an eyeglass cloth.

Guess y'all answered my questions, so thanks. I'll tell him it's bullshit, go to whoever is convenient and has a sale.

you already started, might as well finish.
Newp, I was just being bitchy. Woot's only soft spot is his kids ... well, after his head, at least :FRlol:

If he fucks up glasses that bad than buy him multiple spares at low cost. I bought some from this place just to keep in my car as a back up, they turned out to be really good
Buy Eyeglasses & Prescription Glasses under $10 - Goggles4u

Uh, you go buy shit glasses for $10, good luck with that. We tried something similar once, and it was a fucking catastrophe, waste of time and money. Gave him a headache because the damned things were warped, like looking through a funhouse mirror.

Actually we usually buy him two pairs. He's not rough on his glasses, the ones he has now are like three years old, maybe older.

Who designed it?

My artist. It's completely free hand..no stencils or anything.
With a piece like that I wouldn't expect them to have been able to use stencils. It's got a lot of nice movement, and it's an interesting design.

I'm not crazy about the color palate (purely a personal opinion). I do think he used too much black around your delt, it draws your eye away from the phoenix, which should be the focus of the piece.

But that's me, my opinion only. In the final analysis the value of any tattoo lies in how the wearer feels about it. If you love it, it's fucking gorgeous.

That pic doesn't really do the colors justice because it's shitty lightening in my bathroom...There's quite a bit of black throughout it and more colors it's just really hard to get a pic of it all without taking like 10 different pics from different angles.

I can't even tell you the final number of colors in this piece, i lost count at like 27..

That's the problem with "normal" photos, they miss the subtleties. Especially if you're photographing them under fluorescents.

When it comes to tattoos I honestly think you need to see them IRL.

How long did it take? I'm sure you posted it somewhere but I'm a space cadet.

I always get polycarbonate lenses and they only scratch if I drop them lens first on a hard surface. They take normal abuse very well.
