Mine too. I had one invite but I'd almost rather sit at home alone. My son just informed me he was going to go to Lake Louise for the day. I debated driving to Calgary and meeting him there after but feels like a lot of crappy winter driving. lol

I have mine too, let's drunk Skype with the kids and play Angry Birds or watch Cars color changers videos on YouTube!

Lolz. I'm actually lucky in that she doesn't interfere in my life often. Only on the (very) rare occasion that she wants the kid on a day that's not hers.

You'll be free eventually, once your kid hits 18 if nothing else. I haven't spoken a word to my ex in over a decade, and our son ended his relationship with him and cut off all communication more than six months ago. It's not always the bitches that are crazy, men can be head cases, too.
My husband and his ex have no problem being civil (even tho she did ass rape him on the child support). I just made the mistake of marrying a sociopath the first go round. After the psychology courses he's been taking my son is of the opinion his father suffers from antisocial personality disorder. Kind of nice to be able to say to each other "yes, you're right, it was him".

In some ways, it does.
Until they are 18, you are sending money to the mom. She can spend it on the kids -- or on herself. I was fortunate, and my ex spent that money on the kids.
After they're 18, you make payments (i.e. schooling) to the child, not the mom. It does shift the nature of the relationship because you don't have that third party involved in handling the cash.
I agree to some extent, but you are still tied to your ex. Might not be as bad, but you still have a tie.

Fuck you guys, wtf is going on in here?!?! I jokingly complain about my kids; they're 4 and 2 but they are my world. I don't care how much they cost for school, expenses, whatever, I'd give them the skin off my back if that's all I had. I love my wife and my kids to the end but if things don't work out I will never complain about how much I give for my kids. It's not a payment or a debt, it's giving to your kids...and if it ever reaches that stage of life don't fuck that up too, Christ.

FYI, they figured out what kills the bees, but Congress, the EPA and the FDA aren't willing to tell Monsanto and Bayer to stop making systemic pesticides (ergo, impacting corporate bottom line). Europe was and colony collapse disorder was almost unheard of in about a year.

Forced, no. It's a profit issue. You buy the pesticide infused seed and don't have to use pesticides down the road but the systemic pesticides are just that, systemic. They are insidious. With "regular" pesticides the bees can be confined when the planes spray.
What you need to remember is that farmers operate on a TINY, TINY profit margin, especially the farms that don't fall under big agribusiness. Then you've got a whole other problem because agribusiness is creating food deserts, they're utterly dependent on migrant bees which is highly stressful to the hives to begin with. Add in these new pesticide ridden seeds and it's a recipe for disaster.

Umm, did I ever tell you about McDonalds? Okay, husband and I camped at Watkin's Glen park for a week. We hiked this lovely, untouched natural cavern nearly every day of the week. The first day we hiked it someone dumped Mickey D's fries (why do I know this? I picked up the cardboard container to toss into the recycling) at the beginning of the trail. The fries were on a rock ledge. Beautiful, natural setting, full of wildlife, remember this.
Seven days later the EXACT same amount of fries were sitting on that rock. Untouched. No ants, no birds, no nothing. McD's isn't food ... the shit is considered NON food by anything that has enough sense in it's head to perceive what it truly is comprised of.
This was also proved by the guy who did the original 30 Days movie, if you go into the DVD extras. McD's fries are as much food as say, kitty litter or latex paint. They don't rot or decompose, they are untouched by fungus or insects. You'd probably be healthier eating the cardboard they're served in.

Really, how many farmers do you know personally that you're in the position to discuss their finances? Corporate farms or small family farms? Dairy, beef, human or feed crops?
well I do finance for a living, and I live in a rural community so quite a few actually.
Cattle to Corn they're all doing really really well.

Yeah, this. The farmers I know piss and moan but they have 4000-5000 sq foot homes an 60k + "farm trucks". Maybe that's why the profit margins are small - because they write off everything as farm expenses and draw fat salaries.
I don't even get me started on the gubmint loans.
