I'm never taking that shit again.

I shouldn't have tried taking it again.

lololol

this is time released and scribed...

I get ultra quiet and seriously had very bad shit going through my head all day today
yesterday wasn't a picnic either but at least I was productive taking it.

Ritalin doesn't do this to me at all....

crap...I can go through a pot and barely move all day

ask her if she cleaned up her coffee mugs in her garage

Yeah it does. Why the hell did you get that filled? You were a mess on both of those.

Lol@your gif. I didn't...I still had it. Im not doing it again.
I thought I needed a little help...it didn't help :(

Those stimulants can def cause mood issues for some people. My son was a mess on Concerta but has been fine on Vyvanse

I'm great on vyvanse ans I have to add adderall in the afternoon to "boost" no sides yet

Sent from my HTCEVOV4G using EliteFitness

Somebody give me some so I can find out.

When you stop taking adder all your natural dopamine levels will be zero. Use to happen to me all the time. Take mucuna. Helps a little I think

It was while the drug was active...I felt 100% better when it fully wore off tho

So if you don't have ADD and try one of those...do you get super focused and concentrated??

supposedly you get stimmed out of your head
I can't speak for anyone elses experience.

I'm not sure I buy the whole...if you have add you get more focused, but if you don't it will eff you up line of thinking and its just a heavy stim.

when I first started ritalin I was very comfortably focused and was thrilled I seemed to see ..idk what, something I was greatly lacking, then very quickly got steadily more disjointed and unable to do really anything...upping the dose worked until it didn't. Then I switched to adderall which was a disaster right off the bat. I'm not even sure why I took it again.

I tried switching back to ritalin and it never really worked for me ever again for more than an hr.
an hr of focus seemed like a shitty trade off.

Yeah..that's not a great trade off at all. I just see the docs at work forever changing meds for kids. Just like you said...works for awhile and then doesn't. A few seem to luck out and stay on the same one for years but that seems rare.

yeah, I mean...I have enough strategies to deal with my disorganization so fuck it

some stuff is gonna slip through the cracks and hopefully its not important stuff

one of my daughters has a lot of problems with it and it seems pretty cut and dry, her diagnoses but I'm still pretty reluctant to put her on meds . I'm very torn about it.

I've gotten depressed off of OTC Tylenol, so I'm not a good reference point.

These kind of drugs can affect people in different ways. Work with your doc to try some different meds and find what works. Vyvanse might be a good choice for prolonged affect at low doses if you prefer the dextro isomer. Racemic amphetamine can cause some people to get overly jittery. What's your history? Are you taking anything else?

what isomer is best for bat shit crazy?

I'll stay away from the haldol thanks

just very poor organization of thought...the only time I focus on anything is if I'm intensely interested in it.

some of the dopamine drugs like wellbutrin make me rage-y. Wildly angry out of nowhere.

I was very good (despite what nev says)on ritalin, oddly calm..focused zero zip nada in the way of anything like tachycardia or anxiety.
then it just stopped working and I'd have an extremely bad transition "coming down" off of it.

doesn't help I'm being under treated for thyroid stuff right now too and really can't afford to get in to see the dr Iwould need to to get that properly worked out.

I'm also thinking the depression is underlying and the adderall just woke me up enough to really notice it.

who knows.

You were "good" on that for about 3 days and then you got all fucked(er) in the head.

As a guy who can enjoy a wide variety of substances, stimulants are my least favorite. They will wipe the smile right off my face. I can't even drink a whole 5 hour energy. If I use a pre-workout supplement I usually take about a third of the recommended dose.

I can take 100mg of ephedrine and go to bed 30 minutes later.

Everyone's different :)

My son was on ADD meds from the time he was 6. Started with Ritalin, straightened his brain out but he had horrible anorexia (he later told me he felt like a zombie on it, frankly I kind of liked him that way). They switched him to Dexadrine which was sort of a happy medium, less appetite suppression but at least he could get through the school day. He never was able to take the extended release versions of anything, didn't touch him, no effect what so ever, at even more than double the dose.

They put him on Adderall when he was a teenager, that shit lasted less than a week. It gave him rages, no other way to explain it. He scared the shit out of me, and I don't scare easy. His moods became unpredictable and would flash instantly to violence. Now my stepdaughter is on it and the stuff works like a charm for her. Everybody is different *shrug*

Long story short, Adderall can do fucked up things to your mind.
