i don't think you're ever going to see guns outlawed...just like you're never going to see abortion outlawed...however, i do think you are going to see some changes to the laws that will make it more difficult for crazy people to get guns and changes that will make it difficult for all of us to get certain kinds of guns...you can argue with me all you want but, like i said, the nra ain't got enough money to polish this turd.

I agree with you 100% actually in New York already the only way you can get an ar15 is if it doesn't have an adjustable stock, flash suppressor, bayonet and/or lug and it has to hold less than ten rounds so basically you're left with a plain flat 10 round plinking rifle

hell, rifles are worthless for hunting in new york...shotgun only...the only sporting thing you can do with a rifle in new york is plink.

These sick cowards only go after the powerless that can't defend themselves. That part has to change. I don't exactly know how it should be done, but whether it be teachers, staff, faculty, security, police or whatever....somebody should be armed at all these public establishments where mass killing can happen....especially with kids. If we don't change it will only keep happening and getting worse. What's next? A daycare center with infants? Who knows? Time to act

It's horrible for kids that age to really be on their own compare to ppl 5-10 years ago. Unemployment is high from like 19-25 or some shit like that. Too tired to look right now

lots of metro schools in this country have cops, metal detectors and dogs...every city school in pittsburgh does...people move to the burbs (where the schools don't have all those things) to be safer.

I was out the checkout like in whole foods and saw the Chicago tribune with a head on what new security measure would have to be put in place to be safe. Like man some of these school here are already borderline prisons. Metal detectors, cameras all over the school, security forces.., growing up, my schools were never like that. Doors were locked and u had to be buzzed in, that's it. No issues! What more security can we have in schools? Taser bracelets? Some high tech security system where certain parts of the school close down?
