wtf....well at least my ass is slowly sidetracking this thread...

its correct etiquette to not ask for the ring back because it was a gift....I believe it is just not being an asshole to give it back tho

I say give it back. There are 2 I wish I could have gotten back! I think the ring is for being engaged...not asked to be. Haha oh and nice to put a pic with the name. Helps me keep up with people in my head. LOL

Some chicks have a certain something that makes guys nuts. Its a combo of beauty, personality, and charm. I've known girls like that. It seems that every guy they meet wants them.
Is that you Afeedz?

I've spent some time thinking about what exactly are these magical qualities. That TV show The Bachelor is a good study in this phenomenon. Even though all the girls seem have looks and charm and personality, there will be a couple who stand out, and the wierd thing is the whole country agrees on who the favorites are, and the bachelor usually falls for them. So, even though we think our tastes are unique and our perfect mates are some rare person made specially for us, we all seem to be attracted to some universal definition of desireability.

( I saw Shirlene's butt! :D )

It's 100% a personality/charm thing, not looks. Don't get me wrong, I think I'm pretty but it's not like I'm the hottest chick around or anything.

I get complimented on that type of thing all the time from everybody. It's the reason my museum sends me to all of our outreach appointments. Everybody responds well to me.

I don't mean that in a cocky way, either. Its not like I think I could charm or get anybody, but something about the way I present myself is relatable I suppose.

tits for community judgement or full of self....

Here's the honest truth about this gentleman:

He is a dumbass.

Who does that?

In all of my experiences with friends dating and getting married, they were both in tune with the status of their relationship and expected to get engaged long before the proposal was ever popped. They all went and picked out the ring together and everything way before the proposal was offered up.

What kind of a moron propses on a whim? The guy is ridiculously lost in his own mind. What a poor soul.

marry me bro?

Thanks for that feedback. I think charm is typically the factor that separates good looking girls from the girls who can put men in a spell. There is a lot of power in a good smile too.
