fuck everyone

I worked out with a Black Man today, he's an NPC level BB'er, a great guy and he agrees with me whol heartedly on my assessment of the word Nigger and how it is used by black people to create this persona that most blacks want to portray. He however is a hard working tax payer, who has served in the military, and does not wish to be prtrayed as a thug or a gangsta. He carries himself in a particular manner, one that you can tell immediately that this guy is a damn good human being. I'm proud to call him my brother. No racist here

Look at me

I'm not racist cuz I own one myself ...see

Are you not repeating the same thing I said earlier? Obviously GP didn't mean to be offensive, she was using it because she was referring to a song. If a white person is saying it in the friendly way that african americans use it to reference each other and so often use in the music white people buy, I don't see the big deal. I really don't. You can tell the difference when someone is saying something out of hatred and when they're casually using the word in another way. I'm not going to pretend I think that Gweneth was somehow being hateful or a racist just because others wanna keep pretending. Lol @ Kayne giving white people "permission" to use the word at his concerts for a couple of hours like he is in some sort of authority over every black person's feelings (they're not allowed to be offended for a couple of hours I guess if its sooooo offensive to hear a white person utter the word) and in authority over white people's vocabulary/speech. Lol, okay.

That being said, I wasn't raised to be racist and it wasn't cool to be offensive in my house. I couldn't say the word crap or barf. I would be cussing, and cussing WAS NOT ALLOWED. I wasn't allowed to use the word fart because it wasn't something a young lady should say. Saying "Oh my God" was a sin. Do you think I was taught to use THAT word? Lol, no.

I don't use the word because its not in my vocabulary or thoughts. Or my music. :whatever: I don't speak like that because I was taught it was a crude, offensive and hateful word but you can't move the boundaries around and expect people to know where the line is, or keep expecting people to respect it.

I almost posted something racist/offensive in response to this but I fought back against my racist ways

Same old tired shit from people who are racist but try to justify it.
"I know a black guy who isnt a thug but i still think most blacks are _________ and i will keep using the N word"

Question: If I know someone whose last name is Moniger (sound it out...slowly), and I call him by his last name and say, "What's up, Moniger?"

Now assume we are both white, or I am white and he is black...am I racist in this situation?

If a black person heard me call him this and was offended, would he/she be justified in being offended?

discuss!
