Do you tell your Mrs how much you spend

if you do, she will say, one day, "yes I spent $400 on shoes but look how much you spend on gear"....then again if you don't tell her she will say the same thing but spend $1000 on shoes assuming you spent more than you really did.
Thus, you can't win either way unless she has a thing for hardbodies--then she won't care.

I wouldn't even tell her you were using gear in the first place...just gives her leverage in the relationship and something to use against you in the future

Same here...but she has no idea how much I spend on mine and her supps. If she did, she would tell me to cut out all the gh. I bring in the bread and I spend it how I need to and she respects that. No reason for her to know, she's never asked. I just tell her it's expensive stuff.
okay here is what you do in this situation.
you show her how much knowledge you have on the subject so she understands how safe it is. this way she has no doubts what you are putting in your body is safe and isn't gonna turn you into a killer/abuser.
secondly you take her to a bb competition.. trust me on this. not only will she see studs wearing underwear but also there will be bikini contests with women as well for her to see that this sport/lifestyle isn't just for men and a lot of females are interested in it. heck i would say half the people at bb contests are female in the audience.
and if she will probably be like 'hey you should do this next time it looks fun'
if you get her supporting your bodybuilding then she will be fine with you spending money on it.

Me and my wife keep our money separate for this reason. As long as the bills are paid we can spend our money left on what we want
