anavar only cycle-counterproductive?

Anavar won't suppress you like other steroids, mg per mg, but considering that you must take high doses, the difference is not so much big. A recent study showed that 80 mg Anavar/day suppressed testosterone by ca. 65% on average after 12 weeks. But everybody reacts differently. My testosterone suppression after a 8-week cycle with 60-65 mg Anavar/day was nearly 100%.

I see no problem with testosterone suppression anymore, because I recover comfortably on 10 mg Anavar+1 mg anastrozole/day. 30 mg/day is a very low dose, by the way. I would even say that it is an utter waste.

I am very interested in hearing more about this...you use it during recovery/pct? Lots of people think it can't work, but my feeling is that there is potential...I have read of people recovering on 10mg morning dbol (in addition to various supplements to help recovery) I might be trying something like this in the distant future when I finally come off.

Yes, it's really that simple! People make such a fuss around PCT that originally I thought it was a very difficult task. Yes, it is - when you listen to all the internet garbage and you think that after stopping the use of steroids, anti-estrogens will recover your endogenous testosterone within 7 days. It is a complete bullsh*t, of course, and I was often back on my pre-cycle level within mere 10 days after the cycle.

YOU CAN'T STOP USING STEROIDS, WHEN YOUR ENDOGENOUS TESTOSTERONE ISN'T RECOVERED YET! Anavar is an ideal steroid for this purpose, because 10 mg/day will substitute your endogenous testosterone production, and at the same time, it won't interfere with the effect of anti-estrogens. As a result, you will recover very comfortably, and it is very likely that you will be improving even during PCT!

I tested it during my winter Anavar cycle, when I was already disgusted from all my unsuccessful experiments with PCT (including even SARMs). It worked fine - so fine that I couldn't almost believe it. PCT - such a trivial matter!!!:o

Now I am running it once more, after 7 weeks on Anavar. After 2 weeks of PCT, I feel fine, even better than during the cycle, and if I succeed again, I will post my experience here. However, you should use the Anavar/anti-estrogen combo for at least 3-4 weeks, and then you should run some anti-estrogen in low doses for additional 3-4 weeks.

The experience of some users suggests that even when your testosterone levels are back on the normal level (which can happen within 3-4 weeks), they may in fact be "fake", i.e. artifically stimulated by the anti-estrogens. When you stop using anti-estrogens, the testosterone levels will quickly drop back, because your testes don't function normally yet.

Seems like I recall reading that one. I don't recall that it had much of a sample size though, and like you point out, everyone is different. Also, I don't recall the dosing pattern. AM only would reasonably have less of a deleterious impact on endogenous T production.

You seem like a creative thinker. If you periodize your training, consider something like prop every other week to completely avoid HPTA inference. Based on my own reading, I think that might work. Hard week would be probably be two shots ~30 to 36 hours apart right before and during the week's workouts. Easy week would be natty. I think the T levels would fall all the way to physiological before natural production would be decreased. I'd hit the zinc glyconate/glycinate hard immediately coming off the shots. Freeze dried garlic has shown some clinical efficacy in boosting T as well. Any other effective T boosters as well of course.

I think that exogenous testosterone would be too suppressive. Anavar is the best stuff in this regard.

so i stopped my cycle and on clomid, aspartic acid and hopefully my hcgen will be here tommoriow. my bloodwork for test levels will be ready by thurs or fri. should i still run a very low does of anavar? im a little confused on the last few posts. would running hcg or clomid during my anavar cyle have been a good idea?
