Eat as clean as your budget will allow you too. Eating the cheaper chicken breast and veggies is still far better for you than pizza and McDonald's.

It's a short term thing vs a long term thing. In the short term it means nothing. Protein values will not differ much if at all. If anything it's what the chickens ate that'll differ nutritional values wise.

Even free range can include drugs etc. Organic is where that differs.

Just eat according to your diet. Avoid processed foods and fast food completely.

    Re: Non free range chicken

I pay the extra $1 a pound for the organic absolutely and think it is very worth it

the taste is way better and it is going to be more nutritious.

it is what they are fed that makes it organic vs. not.. also how the chickens were treated and what kind of lives they lived. you want to eat chickens that were outside in the sun pecking and eating bugs? or you want ones stuck in cages being miserable and depressed?

Everybody will have a different opinion, but I'll say i eat regular chicken, eggs, sweet potatoes. Oats, veggies, egg whites, etc for half the cost of the fancy stuff...and I do pretty damn well
