Later this week I am going to get about 12lbs. of sirlion tips and try to make my own ground meat. This butcher guy said it is the leanest you can get. -- I am going to grind it in this old hand- crank meat grinder that I found in my attic. I figure I may have to use an egg white or two to bind it up. Then I'll Weigh out four and six ounce pieces and have in the freezer... This way I know it wont have that marble fat stuff in it.
