How many carbs in red meat?

well we are talking about near 0 with carbs.. but red meat does contain calories, and a lot of them. a good size steak contains 600+ calories, and that doesn't count the oil and condiments added

people are under the false impression that you can eat as much meat as you want and not gain weight.. especially in the bodybuilding world. this is completely false and if it were true people at steakhouses would be walking around at 5% body fat ripped and not with guts.

Generally speaking - meat, poultry, eggs and fish will contain no carbohydrates. Just fat and muscle.

Just remember that is ONLY the case for unprocessed forms of meat like steak, chicken breast, fish fillets, whole eggs etc. Things like hot dogs, sausage etc. usually have flour and bread crumbs added as filler.

None. Also red meat contains ample amounts of carnitine used to transport fatty acids across the mitochondrial membrane( energy house of cell) to be oxidized and used as fuel. Remember the more tender a meat it, typically the more fat It contains. Hope this helps.
