I've actually seen a few things on cinnamon as an aid to weight-loss. Its effects are probably negligible, but it sure makes oatmeal more palatable.

Yes, cinnamon is good for ya. Here is an interesting study showing benefits of cinnamon on insulin resistance by its actions of mimeticking insulin.
