Not bad, but like physically robbing a bank, that is a fairly big federal offense. Plus there may be a way to track the transactions

isn't there encryption for packets over a wire? You could build a dummy online bank and transfer funds to it. Use a server with an IP from some other companies set of IPs...register a domain with it, set up a bank, and transfer away. Transfer the funds to a real bank.

This plan could be foiled if banks only transfer to certified servers...which they probably do....so you'd also have to spoof a legit bank's SSL certificate.
