HRT and insurance question

i'm 48, going in to cenegenics this week for blood draw. my insurance won't pay for hgh/test, but i understand that there are some that will. given that HRT is meant to be a cost i will incur for the rest of my life, should i shop around and switch over to an insurance carrier that will let me get my supplements at a discount BEFORE i proceed (since after the blood test any new insurance company can say that i have a "pre-existing condition")?

I have had three insurance carriers while on HRT.

Each paid for everything except HGH. I have simply built it into my budget.
