how do i get an accurate number for how much testosterone i am actually producing if our numbers fluctuate all throughout the day? and why is the range so huge from like 250 all the way to near 1000? where should we actually be and isn't free testosterone what really counts?

Order labs for free and total test. I use ulta labs.com. no doctors involved

you need to get your test done first thing in the morning and be fasted.. generally at least 8 hours but sometimes people go closer to 12 hours

By getting it tested at the same time each time.

Your test levels will drop as the day goes on so you want to get your test first thing in the AM fasted. The range is so large because it is basically the "normal" for men 18-65. Kind of a ridiculous range. Everyone has a different "normal" though. In some cases a healthy 25 year old guy may only need test levels of 400 to function optimally while a 55 year old guy is at 800. Doesn't mean the older guy is in a better place to build muscle or anything, it just means his body requires a higher number to function normally.
