Yeah, you can't taste the weed really, the fuel taste comes through. So if it's good weed it's a waste.

I think he's talking about the lighters used for lighting stoves or grills. You can get them at the supermarket.

I used that (I hate matches and lighters) when I smoked cigars.

Never used zippo's for that purpose so I cant help you. However, for burning your "tobacco blend" in your "pipe bowl", I would recommend a torch lighter for best results. Toast your shit up with a few presses of the torch igniter button and you got yourself a nice cherry.

With standard bic lighters, I like to cirlce the bowl as light my tobacco, let it burn for a bit before I pull some in, then it's easy on from there.
