For the non-athletes among us is there any point in including these lifts other than for an occasional change of pace?
I did a few sets of them today to punish myself for being a little pussylegs & wussing out on deadlifts I couldnt even get 500 off the floor, no fire at all. And they're hard as hell. I felt the lift in exactly the opposite places I expected to, it wasnt at all like the front squat feeling I was expecting.
Anyway back to my question - are they worth doing for bbing purposes or should they be left to those who need seriously powerful cores?
(pussylegs also got punished with high rep trap bar deads first double bw for 20 & then straight into bw for 50, a great way to make sure he pays attention next week)
