You've got to be kidding me with this sh*t!!

It's a survey. Surveys are so incredibiley flawed. When I was in middle and elementary school, I'd fill those out and be sure to put down that I smoked crack at least twice a week.
 
That report is total BS. 5-7% of highschool GIRLS admit to aas use. Come ON. that is just retarded, no way is that accurate. 9 year old girls using steroids! WHATTT!!! they dont even know what steroids are, or what being toned or muscular means. 9 year old children using injectables! yeah ok. You cant even get half the tough guy 20yr old pussys on here to stick themselves. that report is a piece of shit and so is cnn and the media.

It's all about who you poll. If I were to poll elite only with " do you think steroids should be illegal" 99% here would say no fkin way
 
No way a middle school girl is gonna get her hands on real gear. I doubt most girls that age even know what they are. I'm sure a few of em try stuff from GNC...but not gear. They should have asked them what they took, and what dosages...

WTF, this makes no sense. 7% of all high-school girls have taken steroids my ass. That means that (assuming 60% of the total population is out of high-school, 30% of that is female, and only those under the age of 40.... so say 15% of the population, which is approx. 50 million, and 50 million *.07=3.5 million) approx. 3.5 million females have taken steroids. That study is BS.

There's no way in hell that survey is correct. When i was in school you could hardly ever even get pot but we would say we did every drug possible on those survey's. To bad it has to be picked up by a major news agency though.

It wasn't a seminary school but it was in a very small town. You could get it but it wasn't everywhere like it is now.
 
Shit I used to carry a nug or two in my lunch pail...lol. Most of my friends parents grew! I guess it all depends on where you are.

this is the biggest load of horse shit I have ever read! Just another example of how the press is biased here. I am sure that CNN didnt believe the story either, but published it anyhow because it is so sensational. Whatever happend to good journalism? Heck the girls in middle school today have bigger hooters than the seniors in high school did when I was in school in the 80s. The girls today are softer and more feminine than ever, not to mention how many more today are overweight or obese. The numbers in that poll were higher for girls than boys,lol.
The paper here in my area ran this stupid article today. I am sure a lot of idiots in the country believe most of what they read in the paper without even trying to reason it out. The article here made no mention of how they arrived at those percentages of use. Most kids that age lie on the forms becasue they think it is funny, hell I know I did. When I was a freshman in highschool I was having sex at least once per week! Another thing I thought of is maybe many of the girls dont even know what steroids are and answered yes because they use things like creatine.

This report is all over the news today....I just made a post about this very same bullshit....as of now 6:30PM - I have heard it mentioned 4 times to day between TV news and radio....makes me feel like our community is doomed. Gear users are going to be put in the same category as terrorists soon....wtf

I feel your story on young girls using steroids was irresponsible and just another attempt by the media to sensationalize the steroid issue. I have been in the sport of bodybuilding for 25 years and have been competitive for 20 years; nationally for 8 years and I do not know of or ever heard of any middle school girl much less high school (although this I can see possibly on a small scale) I asked my step daughter about it and she looked at me like I was crazy and she is in middle school.
The scale of steroid use compared to ecstasy and cocaine and alcohol in minute and not an area that needs a lot of focus in our schools. Alcohol use is far more a threat and an immediate one. Crystal methadone and heroin is exploding among our youth. These are the problems. These drugs will kill you today; far worse than a slightly deeper voice and some hair on a girls lip!
Steroids by and large used in small doses are reasonably safe even with long term use. Before1990 when our legislators in their imminently short sighted wisdom implemented the anabolic steroid control act which took AAS Anabolic / Androgenic steroids out of doctor’s hands and effectively created the internet black market for steroids. Thanks for making it easy for our computer savvy youth to trick a source who would not sell to a kid if they knew.(steroid users/suppliers are generally law abiding hard working people)We now have a new billion dollar a year drug market! Good job on thinking things through our esteemed law makers.
Lets look at the important issues…we have forgotten 9-11 for the most part. Our borders are lose and un-secure. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s comment was actually fairly accurate. We do need to close them and get a grip on this situation. The Hispanic communities threatening walk outs to sway politician’s decisions, should be allowed to go and be fired. That’s equal rights…I would be fired if I walked out of my job. Gov. Schwarzenegger should be most upset as he went through the proper channels and took the test to be here. Why should anyone else be different? That’s just one issue that needs covering.
I am sure you can think of more yourself. Taking one study and reporting it without any further research into the subject is irresponsible journalism in my humble opinion. If I were to go around and ask the same question and got an opposite report would you run it? I doubt it because it’s not “SENSATIONAL” it’s just the facts, the truth. Something many people I believe are desperately trying to find.
