I'm workin on setting up my 5x5 that I'll start in a week or two. question is: I have 4 days to work on basically 6 body parts (back, bi, legs, tri, chest, sh). how would u guys work that, i.e. chest and bis, bis and tris, sh and back?

thnks, yo.

weak points- everything (seriously tho, chest is the big weak point)

I'm just tryin to figure out the best parts to work together if I have to do that twice a week.

if i do bis and tris will my arms be too shot?

How about...

Day 1 - Shoulders/ Tris/ Abs
Day 2 - Quads/Hams
Day 3 - Back/Abs
Day 4 - Chest/ Bis

Just an example.

or
Day 1 - Chest/Abs
Day 2- Back/shoulders
day 3 - tris/bis/abs
day 4 - quads/hams

thats what im wonderin. would it be better to do arms (bi and tri) together and kill em, or do, say, chest and tris

Hell you can split the body into 2 days pretty easily, you shouldn't have to struggle to get to 4. The max I would split is into 3 days...Push/Pull/Legs...what else do you really need?

the sticky on 5x5 outlines the 4 day split that I prefer

Loads of options man

FYI, im currently doing

Mon - Legs, grip
Tues - Chest, rotator cuff, abs
Wed - Off
Thurs - Shoulders, Back, grip
Fri - Bis, Tris

I, like lots of people, put bis/tris and back/shoulders together. Chest day is short, leaving you extra time for abs, grip work, whatever else you want there.
