LOL @ Segregation of threads. Once the "Stupid" stuff is removed. I'm pretty sure you'll be left with bare bones, boring bullshit. Because let's face it. Fact is, it's not the silly thread's fault serious/great/intellectually stimulating threads get bumped down to the bottom...They're simply not there for the most part.

The solution is posting more serious/thought provoking threads.

Everyone wants to be like "elite". I doubt that 99.9% of people in the United States and abroad who own computers and access the internet even know what elitefitness is.

Actually, no it isn't funny. I am talking about the people who come here and sites like it. I can guarantee you that many people who post on elite also go to AT LEAST one or two other offshoots... Some eventually migrate away while others toggle back and forth. I myself used to post a bit here and there. But got tired of it all and liked elite best so here I have stayed.

I've watched it for years.

Sadly when there is a vocal minority that just doesn't know HOW to engage in an intelligent debate these threads often degrade into the types of threads that no one REALLY wants to read.

But to say that the internet is full of elite wannabe sites? How can you make a statement like that? The internet is a pretty big place.

Honestly, show me the numbers. You're talking about millions and millions of people here, not 20 or 30 spin off sites over the course of six or seven years.

Do you ever think some of the vocal minority just don't find these serious threads quality enough? I like how everyone is so quick to judge people for making silly posts. People equate silly posts with a lack of intelligence, or capacity for mature intellectual debate. Maybe these serious threads are just not that good to begin with?
