Your advice NEEDED, Please

right ok on friday i did my first 2ml injection into my left glute (1ml sust 1ml EQ). it was the first time ive used the BD EQ, i used a 23g 1.25" pin. immediately post injection everything was ok, however the day later when i woke up i had a terrible "sore" pain there. this continued thru sunday (xmas day!) on sunday night the pain had subsided so i had a "feel" round and the epicentre of the pain is what seems to me like a "ball" inside my glute which i would estimate to be the site of the injection.

So i guess im asking what is this "ball" and is it anything to be concerned about?

Sounds typical so far. No need to sweat it unless its hot, growing, red, etc for a few days+ with no signs of improvement.

always massage the injection site thoroughly (deep tissue massage) for a solid 2-3 minutes imediately following the injection, the soreness the next day will not be there anymore... if you wait for it to start hurting, well then you just have to deal with the pain..
the "ball" is nothing to be concerned about unless it gets hot and red usually.
