You remember the first bodybuilder you ever saw?

never met a pro bb, but I met Joe Ladnier, a power lifter. I was working at Academy Sports and he came through my line. I was like HOLY SHIT, you're huge. I told him that I'm in to working out, and he gave me a card for a free workout at his gym down here. Didn't really know of him at the time tho.

edit: I thought you meant met. The first pic of a BB I ever saw was Coleman, at this gym I was at a few years ago.

first pro was Tony Pearson...really nice guy.

Lee haney used to have a Tv show my mom asked me to watch ...We watched it together everytime it came on....Goood shit...

Laura Creaville ate a lot at the Peking Duck lunch buffet in Biddeford, Maine. Her husband Chris couldn't keep up.

lunch for $5.95.

I saw IFBB Pro John Hnatyschak in the late '80s when I was in high school. He was still a Bayonne police officer then. He was at the post office near the waterfront to mail letters and since it was near summer break he was in shorts. My classmates and I freaked at his calves.

Jay Cutler right after he first turned pro. I was really cool to see one in real life so I could judge them in pics.

I've gotten to spend a couple hours with Gunter a couple of times, he is super nice and very genuine.

Cheers,
Scotsman

Bob Paris.

No, that ain't no joke. Bought a ticket to his seminar, that man was a wealth of knowledge. Geniune person as well. Didn't shy away from any questions, even about his drug use.

did you know that he was gay? :rainbow:

My husband and I used to be good friends with Mike Morris before he moved to Cali. and forgot about us. I guess he's busy. Anyway, he was a really funny guy when we used to hang with him. Him and his bestest buddy Mr. Gallon-jug-o'-water. Haha!

I came on the scene in the mid-late '90's. I was always partial to Nasser, both for being a massmonster as well as being rather well-spoken in Flex and other readings. Jean-Pierre Fux was another guy I remember from back then. Dorian's last two Sandows :( and some unimpressive new guy taking Dorian's spot. Kevin Levrone when he looked good, Shaun Ray who is, has, and will always be there, lol. Ernie Taylor, no idea what ever happened to him.

I never liked Kalami, Ruhl, and that big blocky unsemmetric guy, Youngblood I think... never cared for any of them. I was getting out of the scene by this time.

I liked the '96 through '01, personally. Kinda the era I grew up with when I started training.

And Lee Priest is, of course, absolute god.
