You guys think the bar will be busy?

I'm working the dinner shift at the bar/restaurant tonight. With it being the holiday weekend and all, you think it'll be busy for dinner?

Also, please post up your favorite ab exercises. I need some ideas for my workout tomorrow. I'm bored of doing straight leg raises/hip thrusts. I need something fresh that will bring out the burning within my abs. Thanks
 
german beer? i dunno but we serve something called Hacker (short for Hacker Schorr or something) it comes in a tall brown bottle and it's served with a lemon wedge

plus cubs vs white sox play each other today

and its a sports bar so the algebra equals alot of frickn ppl at the bar a la noche
 
Well to answer the ab question:

The thing that really light my abs up are crunches using a rope and cable station and hanging leg raises using those slings. Don't know why the slings work better than just hanging there myself. At least for me they do.

and tiger, the bar WILL BE PACKED but it wasnt packed during the 4 hours i was there (4 to 8 pm). but i made 50 bucks for about 2 hours of work.
 
yeah ive done the rope pulldowns on the cables before. ive tried all positions too just feels harder on my hands holding the ropes than on my abs. I usually used like 100 or more pounds onthose cable crunches but abs dont get sore wtf

Don't worry about them getting sore. Soreness is not necessarily an indicator of growth, just lactic acid buildup.

still, they are correllated

smurfy, try laying on your back, holding a heavy plate at arms length towards the ceiling, then using only your abs, push the plate towards the ceiling repeately. i had huge drama feeling anything in my abs but this exercise with about 110lbs (had a guy help load) did the trick
 
I was out at a bar tonight, the place was fucking dead. I'm friends with all the staff, they said it was dead all day. Pretty big place and there were no more than 10 people there.

i think the bar will be packed, because anyone who knwos your working there tonight has gotta come see your beauty.


and for ab exersises, throw in some hipthrusts...with me...
 
robert - yeah we have that at my gym too. ive been using it for like 3 years. im just trying t get some fresh ideas. i like the idea of doing crunches on the floor holding a plate up0 towards the ceiling. i may try that. not sure how much to use tho LOL
 
One of the ab combo's I like best is the cable crunch supersetted with leg raises Bruce Lee style ... it's feels like your abs are gonna rip appart
