anyone heard of this

Ying Jow Pai (Northern Eagle Claw System)
This Northern style system is characterized by the long arm techniuqes, low and high kicks, and circular techniques combined with beautiful yet deadly flower techniques. The Eagle Claw system specializes in using the hand like the claw of the Eagle to capture and lock an opponent. There are 108 locks that are combined with pressure points, throws, groundfighting and even gymnastics. The advanced practitioners of Eagle Claw develop their hand and finger strength so that they can crush bones, stop blood and air flow and disrupt the nerves.

i've heard of eagle claw,yeah

i do/have done crane some of the moves not being too dis-similar

this style has more ripping/crushing/tearing moves in it though

its very hard to get to the killer stage of the art (i.e. hands being strong enough) as its near impossible to practise deadly technique effectivly....but im interested in the groundwork locking section it mentions..

Such an art would probably be pretty effective...in movies.

ha ha ha ...that's pretty good. When people ask me about systems like this, I always ask them if they've EVER seen a fight where this was used or anything like it was used. OR, if it would have been effective against what was being used. Usually they say no and everything is cool.

With kung fu, yes everything seems beautiful & deadly when practicing against a static co-operative partner. But, when it comes down to it, choreography will not help you win a fight. No, you cannot crush bone with your fingers and no you're not deadly in the amount of time needed to get yourself out of a violent situation. Don't fall into the trap.

OK.... I knew a 60yrl dude who was a wrestler, he could crush an Apple to the pulp with he bare hands... Crushing bone with you hands ummmm little hard to belive.
"Stoping blood flow and disrupting nerves"... You can do that now without much training, just grab somebody's throat and squeez, or dig your fingers into their neck(just above the collar bone)... Or pinch then pull(hard and fast) on the meaty neck muscles. all that stuff stops blood flow and disrups nerves.
