Yeeeaaaawww! HCG shot = pain!

WTF! First off I hit a nerve 3 diff times before I got a change to shoot then when I finally shot it hurt like a Mother F&%$er! I took my first shot yesterday and had same problem hitting nerves in quad but I didnt have the pain when i shot would it have anything to do with it being cold from the frige?

Are you sure you "hit a nerve?" If you were to actually do that, I'm pretty sure it would have more of an effect than just causing some transient pain. Where are you injecting? It should be done about half-way down your quad, on the outer sweep (i.e. the vastus lateralis). As long as you're not using a 3 inch long needle, that area should be clear of any nerves. And yeah, hCG does hurt when injecting, but don't be a pussy and take it ...

No im not sure i hit a nerve. Ive did many quad injects with oil based with no problem. When I broke the skin and slowly started pushing in I felt a sharp pain and stopped and started over and moved over about 1/2 inch this happened 3 different times. Maybe It was something else I dont know but I do know It Hurt like hell when I injected. If its supposed to hurt I guess I can take it but It just made me nervous because Ive never had this happen before.

I get the same sting with HCG. I think it is simply a matter of the water base not lubing the needle as well.
I am going to try drawing a little bit of oil to use as lube next time I try it to see

I think your right because ive never had this problem before. Im going to put a little oil on the needle also. Im using 23 ga 1 1/2 inch and only going about an 1" deep. Hurts like shit but im tired of not having any nuts so Im going to take the pain! LOL

The gauge you are using is too big for hcg. I had that problem once and you are injecting a water base and it injects way too fast. My problem went away when i used a 27 gauger. When i was using 23... my leg would twitch everytime i would even touch the plunger.

I've heard HCG can be given subcutaneously with no real loss in effectiveness. Anyone try this and get normal results?

By the way how many IU did you shoot?

I have some insulin pins but they looked like they would be way to short to hit muscle. I mixed up 2000iu and im shooting 500iu a day prolly for 8 days or whenever my nuts get to the size I want them.

simple fix. Change the pin after you draw up the solution. It's the solution in the needle coming in contact with upper layers of skin which is causes the pain. Try it.

I think it is bullshit. I always hit my quads and I feel no difference whether left or right.

Very good point. I always use a virgin needle to shoot and an 18 gauge to draw the fluid. I want the needle sticking in me to come right out of the sheath and directly into my muscle.

HCG can be done sq with an insulin needle and no sting wse.
Ive done it for years and its just as effective.

bingo! Did what you said and it worked but I did preload 4 insulin pins with 500iu each and tried one of those also and it worked great. Thanks for the replies fellows.
