Xbox Sucks

i wasted my time by turning in my PS2 for a box... this thing sucks.. there are NO FUN GAMES at all.. SOCOM and S2 had me going for over 2 years on PS2... ghost recon 2 is "cool" and "realistic" but not nearly as fun as socom... what a fucking waste!!!

i've tried odd world, GR2, kingdom under fire, tennis, college football, nfl 2k5... they all are boring compared to socom... xbox has shit for games.

Ummm, those games that u listed are pretty shitty...u got off to a bad start with the xbox. I suggest you try Halo 2...once u do, you will understand why kids today drop out of school for video games. I also suggest you pick up xbox live - this makes games so much better.

I LOVE MY XBOX 25+ games all stored on My HD, and all my DVD's ! Cant go wrong! im too old to pay 50 bucks a pop on video games. =].

I certainly don't think it sucks. I prefer PS2 but it's mainly for the controller. Today's games just about always will look better on Xbox but not that much better. You can mod both systems though. On PS2 I play NES, Sega Genesis and SNES game plus I have about 50 burned PS2 games. I just download them off the newsgroups.

I disagree. The Xbox looks a million times better, with games that output at 480p, 720p and a few at 1080i. Get the X2VGA+ adapter and hook the Xbox up to your monitor and you will be blown away how good it looks. It destroys anything the PS2 could do visually. Games like Ninja Gaiden, Otogi 2 make it worth it for me. Plus having a modded box, you can download any game you want and play it right from your hard drive. I love my Xbox!

Hell ya! Snarling..... Why dont you get the component video adapter? for Hidef and run the games in Hidef mode?

I run my games in HD mode.....but most games are 420i. i got a 1080i monitor but it still looks fuckin amazing......i want to get my hands on a 1080i game and see if i can see the dif.

mm107 I don't own a TV that can support HD games so that is why I bought the X2VGA+ adapter which allows you to play games in those high resolutions on your PC monitor. The only 1080i game I've played was Dragon's Lair 3D and it looks pretty fuckin amazing. At 79 bucks for that adapter, its WAY cheaper than going out and buying a TV that can support those modes, since nearly everyone already has a computer monitor.

halo 2 is boring... too repetitive for me... too childish and spaced up.. i like realistic games. Ghost Recon 2 puts halo to shame... but like i said, it doesnt equal socom 2.

i guess ps2 fans like wasting money on memory cards, games, and right under top notch graphics. on my modded box i got 38 xbox games, every nintendo, snes, genesis, and about 6 nin64 games. i can also put any other xbox game i want on my box. so really ps2 is just sorry i havent played mine in two years.

I bought an Xbox just for playing Halo2 on xbox live and I my xbox beats the shit outta my ps2 everyday of the week in every aspect. IMO the ps2 selection of games seems to be geared towards little kids while xbox games seem to be for a little bit older crowd. Halo2 online kicks some major ass.

While the PS3 is going to be between 600-650$ i'm not surprised

Xbox is great, the sports game are off the hook, and when you get it modified it nuts. Its just some of my favorite games of all time are coming out on the station. As for the ps3, I heard its going to dwarf the xbox in power this time around. I don't know, well have to wait and see..

You ever consider that if you like SOCOM and you buy Xbox games that are not like SOCOM, you aren't gonna have a good time?

Maybe look at Splinter Cell (any of the three). Republic Commando. Brothers in Arms.
