Never really played or seen them until this last year, but after playing all three now, I can safely say that they all fucking suck. Pc games are so much better. Not even comparable really.

I wish a friggin online fighting game would come to the PC.

i'd never leave the house.

Some Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter. Soul Salibur.

What sucks is that I used to spend a shit tone of time at arcades from 92' on up playing fighting games when ther were all the rage. Those were some of the best times of my life..Met a lot of people that way. Had a ton of fun hanging out in arcades at malls. Now it's all gone. No one goes there to play people cause they can do it online. Just another way that technology is in some ways bringing us further away from reality. I'd rather REAL community vs. VIRTUAL community any day.

that's true...and i have to admit, those systems do have some cool fighting games, but everything all, graphics included sucks. wasnt much for arcades or that many games for that matter, just like action shooter, like medal of honor, battlefield, planetside ect

The mouse+keyboard is simply superior for gaming input, especially for shooters.

Ever compared Halo on Xbox vs. Halo on PC? Like night and day.

exactly, i was going to use that as an example but didnt want to write more lol

how can it be better? You are SOO limited with a freakin' mouse and 2 buttons. With my xbox controlelr i'm able to do SOOO much shit. w/o having to constantly go to the fucking keyboard.

Console games are for sport genre games.

PC's are for FPS.

The input for console games i.e the controllers, suck.

I can rock any great console FPS player on the PC. Mouse and keyboard are more intuitive input devices.

hell no. I can change guns, view maps, zoom, and jump all before you can even get your left hand to the keyboard to bring up the first option.

oh and u don't have to worry about f'n CHEATING on xbox live.

When playing, my left hand is always on my keyboard.

When Halo2 comes out we'll be able to settle this. :)

Computer is more efficient for FPS, otherwise I'd have to stick with console.
I also love pulling a trigger to fire instead of clicking a mouse button. Same with walking around...I prefer the joystick. I do agree that mouse/keyboard player would have the advantage over a controller at a FPS.

Try playing Ninja Gaiden with a mouse and keyboard....you can't! (assuming it was for PC). It's all a matter of preference, but I sure ain't gonna sit in front of a computer to play a game after I've been in front of one all day at work. My fat ass on the couch is where I'll be playing.

I think all action shooter games are better for Pc, same with RPG.

The Pc has unparalleled graphics. First time I saw Halo for Xbox I just started laughing, it looked like a 1990 arcade game or something compared to Pc games.

As for the gaming systems, there cool for sports games and like if you want to have a bunch of friends over and play madden and just hangout or what not ( lan parties:FRlol: )

I don't know, Halo on my 57" widescreen with the high-definition pack looks pretty freakin' good compared to the tiny graphics on my monitor.

I've tried PC games, but after 15+ years on gaming consoles I just can't get used to it.

I'm for consoles. I like sports games and adventure games like GTA or Resident Evil and they just aren't as fun to play sitting at a desk on a PC. I never really got into FPS games or strategy games. And I can't even think of any cool fighting games on a PC. Plus PCs cost more and you have to keep upgrading to play the newest and best games. With a console you pretty just but the conole and that's it until the next one comes out. But PC games are much easier to pirate so I like that.

For you PC game doubters..play the recently released "UNREAL Tournament 2004" online. It doesn't get much better.....

I got my Transformers today. I've been playing it about an hour. So far it's pretty good. Nice graphics. It does play like Halo exept you can transform and drive around and move around faster. It took me about 20 Mins for me to really get the feel of the controls though.

so basically the main arguement against PC games from the console side is that the input isn't good.

OK so guy buy a gamepad for your PC and configure the buttons how you want them.

Prancing thru the fukkin flowers, nothing melts me like april showers, cripple my nipple and call me jim powers, balding and beautiful as shit, tropical monkeys cause me to explode, sons of bitches raid my frdge for grits N shits, what have I done to you, you fucking monkey mutilate...

Well Duh PC is superior by definition. Whenever a new console comes out, at first it's equal to the better PC's, but in no time PC's grow out of them.

i MUCH prefer my ps2 when it comes to games like madden, NHL, GTA, etc... but i wont even bother playing an FPS because nothing can compare to PCs for playing FPS games
