Doesn't make it an every day neighborhood occurence. Yeah, it's happened before, but that doesn't make it any less disturbing.

You're neither surprised nor offended that the story was reported, or the nature of the crime?
I can also assure you that not all sensational cases get the same coverage. In many respects, if the victim is 'invisible' to begin with, chances are the actual criminal investigation barely inches forward.

yes, if it goes on, its good to be alerted to it, so we can know about these sick fucks. but nobody enjoys hearing about it and shit.
those people who were in the news story and anyone else doing similarly fucked up acts as you say "yesterday, today, and tomorrow" are all scumbags and i wish the same fate on all of them.

A sixth grader who said he stabbed a mother duck and two ducklings, then later recanted his story, won’t face charges, a district attorney said Friday.
There was insufficient evidence to support any charges, said District Attorney Nola Foulston.
The case of the duck, which had nested near a school with her two ducklings, received national attention in May. An 11-year-old boy told classmates he hated ducks and had stabbed them multiple times. Students and teachers held a ceremony to share their grief, and alarmed officials said the boy needed mental treatment.
