sorry about that, it was entirely a subconscious pent up sexual frustration thing.

Best of luck to you girl. How much experience do you have at your present postion?MissJanet79 said:Shit I might be in the same boat w/ ya QT. The company I work for is really SLEAZY in their ways of business. In a few weeks, I should know my fate... I've been job hunting though so at least I got a head start on that. Good luck girl!!

I'm an Executive Assistant/ProjectCoordinator: I have OVER 6 years of experience... started at an early age. I definitely don't plan to do this forever but I'm seeking something fairly stable so that I can go back to school. But you know, everything happens for a reason. So I know & have faith that something better will come along. You know the saying... Door closes, another opens.superqt4u2nv said:Best of luck to you girl. I get six months off a year, if I don't decide to work overtime which normally I have to because the boredom drives me insane.ChefWide said:I had to settle for 6 weeks...

and head up does not count!!How many more years of University you got left my friend? The Red Dragon said:Job hunting...I hope I'll never ever have to go through with that stuff.
The Red Dragon said:4 Undergrad (Co-op'ed - jobs are handed to you, or you pick em out of a pool, nothing more is involved but a resume faxed and an interview - I don't ever plan to work in the general job market, this is to fund my undergrad)
4 Med school (if I get in)
3-6 years residency (6 for surgery, 3 for general)
Even for medicine you have go go through the application process but there's so much demand that you'll get offers thrown at you when you come out...except if you're too too specialized. I know a neurosurgeon who hasn't found a job 'in Canada' after a year or so.
Did you study at U of T?

Yup most family docs here are over booked and not accepting new patience. The Red Dragon said:You serious? All GP's want to work in Toronto, not just because of the research opportunity but the clientele etc. Are all of the GPs you're looking for overbooked? I don't know what I'm going to be, GP is mundane I hear by some med students...and my own family doctor. Although surgery is wayyyy too demanding and dangerous (to the patient), I hate the idea of a patient dying under my watch. But apparently the docs get used to it. We'll see during clerkships/observerships/rotations
I know what you mean.... we learn the HARD way though. They'll give me one month severance here & plus they have to pay me for my vacation days which I didn't use. That should hold me up for a while...SoreArms said:I might join the "searching" force soon. I'll either leave becasue they dont pay me enough, or they'll fire me because I dont do anything. The part that worries me is that I have no money saved, I'll be homeless.
The Red Dragon said:Speaking of an ageing population, perhaps when you go back to school you can head into pharmaceuticals. Not only will it be huge (facilitating the need for job hunting) but you can get all the gear you want

The Red Dragon said:So you're without a GP...isn't that kinda dangerous?
