i got this cold on wednesday, and being the trooper that i am, i took the midterms w. my head up in the clouds from all sorts of medication. anyways, this thing wont go away. and its not just a runny nose, its also pressure around my temples and around my jaw line. this cold has also made me fatigued and the thing is, my temperature is normal. whenever i blow my nose , it refills up again in seconds. however, blowing my nose does relieve the pressure around my temples for a few minutes, then its back to normal. sometimes when i blow my nose (stop reading if youre squemish) , i see blood in the goo. and i am absolutely bloated with flem. i have tried tylenol xtra strength to no avail and sudafed xtra for sinus pressure, and still nothing. anyone know whats up with this? i cant go to the gym because of this, and i took 2 weeks off to study for midterms. now this cold occurs right when they ended, and i really wanna jump back in there. any input is appreciated.
ps i think its sinus, but i dont know what medication is strong enough to get rid ofit.

its cold here there was 9 inches of snow on my hood this morning

it sounds like a sinus infection, really isn't medicine at the store to "fix it" you'll just get over it
if no fever it's not flu!

bran, hammy, jack ill get u after i spread it around. thanks guys. well not jack, but hammy and bran :P

are you coughing up flem? is it green in color at all. if so it is an infection. infections need antibiotics. if your not having the drainage to your throat and coughing up flem, then it moat likely is just a cold.

you can have sinus infection and not run a fever.

if its a virus, there is nothing for you, except time.

if it's in your chest, you're bummin', if it's just sinus problems, you're ok.

not true, real sinus infections can be very difficult to treat sometimes. an in worst cases reqiure surgery, scaping the sinus cavities.

yes its green , so i think its a sinus infection. and i just took 5 sudafed tablets in a span of 14 hrs, and i just looked at the "no more than 4 per day" on the side of the bottle. wish me luck! :D

Don't worry. You're fine. They prescribe much higher daily doses at hospitals.
