WTF? Customs Letter

big black boy

New member
What the hell is going on here? I got a letter today in the mail. I was expecting a package from romania. The letter was personally from a customs agent telling me that he took my gear and he was gonna get big off of it. He says i am lucky that he doesnt write it up... But he says thanks for the gear... What should i do?

Well, I guess I give him an 'A' for creativity.

What the hell ya mean what should you do? You write it off as a loss dude, what do you think your gonna do, call the feds on him and say "hey, Mr Fed, Joe customs agent took my illegal drugs I bought and is going to use them for himself."

Well this is difinetely the first time I've ever heard of this, but probably not the first time someone's had mail stolen. At least he was polite enough to write you a letter telling you he just ripped you off. But DOES sound fishy. I doubt a customs agent would do that.
Sorry bro, better luck next time.

No shit, working for Customs would be pretty awesome... until your fellow agents wonder why you put on 200lbs of muscle in 3 weeks and your liver is failing. :)

Did the "customs agent" write his name on this letter. If so, just find out if that particlar guy actually works for customs. I doubt he does.

fuck bro, you can't get in trouble anymore......if it's real I'd say send the letter to your local F.B.I office. They can't bust you if you never physically got your hands on the stuff, and you can always say you were expecting no such package, therefore you have no idea what the customs agent was talking about. But I'd look over the customs letter pretty closely, I think some of the other bro's might be right.........creative scamming!!! I'd make sure that customs letter is legit.......if it is, bust that mf's ass. Remember, if the customs guy would have written it up, you'd just get a letter in the mail telling you have 90 days to claim the package. It's a write off either way, but I'd consider it at least partially worth the money if I could buttfuck some customs agent that thought he was all clever and witty and though he could pilfer MY gear!!!

This is an interesting one for sure. Either way the guy is screwed and even if he never recieved gear, i would not take the letter to the feds, ya never know, maybe they will just flag the addy for jollies and keep an eye on future mail.

At the same time, if it was the source, why make a bunk letter like that and just not make a real one to send the guy? If I were a source, I would just dummy up a real one if I was gonna scam, then it would likely be no questions asked.

OK, well let's look at this deductivly

There's only 2 people who could have mailed you the letter.

Customs or your source

If the customs guy wanted to steal your gear, why wouldn't he just take it and not say anything? If he really wanted to send something, why not send a real customs letter since a customs worker would have very easy access to such letter as they send them out.

Now lets look at your source. It's harder for your source to have a legit customs letter, so it's a lot more plausable to assume that your source made up the bogus letter. There are many way's to scam people, and faking a seizure is not unheard of. Time to find a new source.

that's a scam, an agent would never do that, they could get into too much trouble. do a little research, make sure, and then post that scammers name. sorry bro. scammers

years back when i unloaded trucks for UPS, i saw a box addressesd to a pharmacy from LILY !! of course I nabbed it and it had GH in whichI quickly sold for a few $$$ ! ! !

you are right bro,
but keep in mind that his source is from Romania, so it's easy to tell if this letter was sent from USA or overseas, just look at the stamps etc.

The whole thing seems very weird to me, hey bro, can you scan this letter and post it here?

I didn't think of that. Was the letter sent on customs letterhead? Was it sent in a US Customs envelope? Was it metered by the original country? I think this mystery is close to solved. The answers to these questions will probably solve your problem.

I agree w/ Corelone

These things are important to know!
If it was metered, you would know the info on orgion, besides where it was postmarked. letterhead is also im[portant.
I dont think a thief at Customs would be stupid enuf to use Company letterhead and postage meter though!

No way was that from customs. Do you think they take the packages home and open them, keep what they want and then send out a letter.

They are carfully watched as packages are searches. These are federal regualtions that we are talking about here, not some mom and pop mail boxes ect.
