WSB/Bigger faster Stronger/Core

I decided to try what spatts said, and just do core workouts during track, but im going to do ghr's also.

I picked 2 upper body exercises to do BFS on bench days, close grip bench, and incline close grip bench.

for the core i'm going to do reverse hypers and the decline static hold that needsize talked about

any thoughts?
 
i think you should do dynamic work during track.

just lifting 2 days a week. like mon-de upper, and thursday de lower or vice versa.

thats what i did last spring for track and i had the best season of my life, i was a thower and broke my PR'S by 5 feet in the shot, and 23 feet in the discus.

but keep the workouts short, cut the speed sets down to like 5 sets, and then do the GHR and abs on lower day, then do do a tricep and upper back on bench day.
