"At nearly 6 feet tall, Bush was found in his 2003 physical to weigh 194 pounds, with a low 14.5 percent body fat, a healthy resting blood pressure of 110/62 and a resting pulse rate (45 beats per minute) that puts him in the range of a well-trained athlete. "

Not bad, not bad. Much owed to genetics.

45 beats per minute ???

That's awsome for a man his age who , I guess, doesn't train every day

he does do a lot of work on a ranch when he vacations which is about every other week

sucks for bill clinton bc that man ran so many marathons and was shown on his daily run all the time, then he got massive heart surgery, must be shitty genetics

Bush is a fuggin putz!

He looks like a wimpy punk to me and i never get the impression of him being 6' tall.

150 for 10? Wow! Even at his age, that's lame! I'll at least be benching bodyweight at his age, at least.

As for his blood pressure and bpm I highly doubt that. Sounds a little exagerated. When I joined the Navy at 19 I could run a mile and a half in 9 minutes easy and 5 miles in 38 minutes. I passed the BUDS pre-physical fitness test easily and his values are almost identical to mine only I was 110/60 and 46 beats per minute. I never did go to BUDS(training to become a navy seal), but I was easily in good enough shape to do it.

There is no way in hell he's as physically fit as I was back then, so there's no way in hell he's gonna have matching profile. Sorry, don't think so. Maybe I'm wrong, but I've got way better genetics than his putz ass and I doubt those are his real stats.

hes the president, he doesnt have the time to go to the gym and bench all the time. oh and when hes in other countries, sometimes hes not even allowed to leave and go on a run. how do you know you have better genetics? i mean it doesnt sound like you do.

low resting rates and blood pressure runs in my family. my grandma is in her 90's and her resting rate is 50 bpm and 90/50 is her pressure. mine is not quite that low. my great granny is 109 years old and her pressure is just as low. my uncle is as skinny as me, and he doesnt work out and has better numbers than bush in the heart crap. resting pulse more around 60 though. bush is gonna die old and fit. unless someone gets to him first or something.

LOL at eat big, probably better than your's pal.

Were you benching 250 and squatting 285 in 3 months of training? No? Didn't think so. You put an 1.25" on your arms in that time frame? No? That's what I thought you lame Bush bum humper. :frog:

Sounds like I've got crap genetics lol.

TheOak84, those are perfectly normal and are considered Ideal I believe.

I think 110/70 is considered perfect and around 60-70 bpm resting is good so you are right around the very healthy range.

Some of us just have lower resting heart rates naturally and lower blood pressure. Low blood pressure runs in my family.

Also, through intensive cardio you can strengthen your heart msucle and as it becomes stronger it doesn't have to work as hard and come pump more blood per beat by the minute so you can lower your resting heart rate through intensive cardio. I'd guess my resting heart rate is around 70 right now because I'm not doing any cardio as of late, but if I started intensive wind sprints a couple times a week within a couple months my resting heart rate would drop into the low 50's to high 40's.

I may have been wrong about bush since johnRob brought up the subject of his families history, but I still don't believe Bush is in the shape of a well trained athlete, and just what is that by their standards.

maybe you do have good genetics but i just didnt think so bc you couldnt accept the fact that bush is healthy, why would doctors lie? they dont hold back cheneys health issues. thats all im saying. btw how old are you and and what have you taken?

Ok, you give me a cool response like that and I'll give ya one back. Maybe we got off on a bad start.

I just don't like Bush period so that's gonna scew anything I say about him into the negative.

I do believe he's in good health. In the physical condition of a well trained athlete is definitely padding though imo although I'm sure he keeps himself in shape.

I just thought his BPM and blood pressure were a littel low, but since johnrob opened my eyes a little I thought about it more and realize I was off about that. I have low blood pressure too as well as a low resting heart rate when I do lots of cardio, but can't say what they are right now.

AS for his bench numbers, actually that's pretty respectable considering his age and job, but hey, I don't like Bush so I'm gonna knock him any chance I get haha. It doesn't help that I hang around a powerlifter that is in his 50's that can bench+350 and squat 550 I think without having anything above the average in genetics, but lots of hard work and persistence over the years.

As for me, I'm 24, and I did a cycle of 1-AD for 3.5 weeks and m1t for 4 days lol, but other than that that's all I've taken besides your basic protein powder, creatine, multi-vitamin/mineral and tribulus. I've made all the gains natural except for that almost month of 1-AD use. It didn't effect my progress really and I gained at a normal pace strength wise while on it, but I think my size gained a little faster than normal on it.

i do understand where you are coming from, which is why i sadi that, if you dont like someone you automatically form opinions. its totally normal, i do it all the time. i was just wondering why, im glad we could resolve this. like you, i havent done any serious supplements. im only 18 so i think ill lay off the prohormones for a while. maybe forever... i too know some men who are over 50 and can lift amazing numbers. again, i understand where you are coming from. my tennis coach who was over 45 and about 5'8" can bench in the 400's. but he only got it through hard work and persistance like the man you know. keep lifting.
