sorry, but i value everyones opinion on the anabolic board...how's this for a post workout shake...1 serving of NLarge2(600 calories, 52 grams of protein), mixed with a little fat free frozen yogurt, and skim milk...tastes SOOOO good...i just got one of those smoothie makers...its no joke!

i do that all the time. but i use a diff weight gainer and i love it. I also add a few spoons of natty pb for some added cals if you need them

I like NLarge2, I use whole milk though for the extra cals and protein. Pound one of those down after a workout, have a real meal a half hour to an hour after that and your good to go so those muscle can start growing.

Man, unless you've got the metabolism of The Flash, you're gonna put on a shitload of fat like that, even if that's post-workout.

N large 2 tastes great, but mixing it with milk makes it too thick and somewhat sweeter. I feel like I'm drinking cake batter. Mixing it with water makes it much better.

im not disputing you, just wondering why i would add alot of fat...the only fat is coming from the Nlarge2, and its not that much...il admit a lot of sugar, but need i be concerned about that since its PW?

Smoothie maker?
Whats that and where you get one?
I'd like to turn my protein shakes into a frozen smoothie :D

i saw em on QVC but really you can get them anywhere...i got mine at a store called Linens and Things...but i know they have them at regular department stores like macy's, jc penny, things of that nature...like 40-50 bills....best purchase ever!

Sounds good, but that many cals and carbs would turn me into the blob. I often add low fat ice cream or forzen yougurt to my shakes, but I stay away from the weight gainers. In my shakes I do not like the calories from carbs to exceed the cals from protein.:)

Fat doesn't make you fat; too much sugar does. And that is a lot of sugar. Even post-workout, your body will only use a limited amount of sugar for the right purposes; everything that it doesn't need will be converted into fat for storage (especially with the giant spike in insulin that the post-workout shake is creating), and you're giving it a lot of sugar to store.

N Large

Adding frozen yogurt would equal too many carbs for me, even PW. Adding milk might be okay. Personally, this is my recipe that I crave every workout day......

4 scoops N Large
2 scoops keto cocoa (can be purchased at a health food store)
6-7 ice cubes
Add to 3/4 cup of water, less for more thickness.
Blend and enjoy.

Soooooooooo Yummy.
