At a height of 5' 9.5" my wrists are 7 and 3/8 inches in circumference. I don't think the circumference of your wrist has anything to do with the amount of muscle of strength that you can add to your frame.
The goal is according to what that site says. Funny... I always thought my calves were my best bodypart. Everything else is sadly lagging. All measurements are cold, as I figured they should be. I really have to up my protein intake. Funny... my calves were this big when I was doing 100+ reps with no weight. I don't think they grew too much from the 5x15 I did while on the 5x5.
Now flame me for my pathetic measurements... muah haha!
I agree totally with Louden on this one. I remember reading in magazines how writers were shocked that Serge Nubret could have 20 inch arms with 7 inch wrists and that he was the exception to the rule. This kind of depressed me at the time 14 years ago when my wrists measured a slight bit below 7 inches and my arms were 13 inches. Im at a 7 and a 1/4 inch wrist now with a 21 and an 1/8 inch arm (tape tight and true and straight up and down) and I also yell bullcrap to that theory!
Ugh, I don't know why my chest and arms lag so horribly. I guess it's that I have to eat more -- but still, my calves are like weeds. And they grow seemingly no matter what I do. Perhaps I have good... uhm... 'calf genetics'?
