How are the new asics wrestling shoes for training purposes?

not sure about the "new" ones but wrestling shoes in general are basically like lifting barefoot. could be good for deads, though i prefer some support/platform to lift from. i like chucks or vans. do you have a pair or just looking for suggestions?

flat wrestling shoes may be more stable than a pair of cushy running shoes.

Deff. chucks if your in a crunch though.

I use my old puma speed cats - flat sole driving shoe for lifts that require sturdiness (deads, squats, over head pressing) compared to squishy running shoes.

Just bought adidas lifting shoes and theyr great, very stable, squatting feels great ... def. buy weightlifting shoes

The reason I asked was dicks has a sweet pair of black asic wrestling shoes for like $45...reg. 65.....look solid.....since I've been using slip on running shoes, anything has got to be better...I'm not a powerlifter or olympic trainee so I refuse to spend $100 for lifting shoes.....that kinda cash goes to my "night attire"....lol

why, do you wear a nighty from victoria's secret to bed? (lol, sorry couldn't resist). any thing that has a flat sole, will be good. this helps to keep you from rocking up onto your toes while either squatting or deadlifting.
