Thats another thing I noticed on this board. Members throw out their personal information about their famlies, their job, and other personal stuff. Thats the risk I'm talking about. If you're willing to do that, then you open yourself up to getting attacked somehow.
I also want to add that if you think that if you say something in "private" to those "friends" of yours that you met on a chat board - you've left yourself equally as open to be attacked, judged and/or harassed.

that is a risk I thought was implicit with use of the internet! Those who throw out the most personal info are generally the ones that get taken advantage of the most.
