Would this be unhealthy or good in an extremist sort of way?

First I dont currently workout.I got depression and all other sort of issues, but I have one thing going for me and thats TIME.I cannot express this enough,no school or work,no obligations or serious distractions. Its like I have my own self created prison here just for me.(my house+outdoors)

This maybe lengthy but here goes.

Sleep 8 hours, wake early in morning(4am) bath eat etc.
Bike for 25-30 minutes low resistance while I practice japanese
Midday-any cardio-walk,jog,sprint,swim,box,etc....proteinshake+carbs(milk fats) after
Late day-anycardio-walk,jog,etc....pshake after+carbs as my lungs improve I move from walk/jog to sprinting(no time limit I guess 20 minutes or so each time)

That everyday.

heres my lifting plans
1-upper+abs
2-lower(back is included)
3-off+Abs
4-upper
5-lower+abs
6-off

on that I take creatine 5gs after either abs or lift and eat after stomach settles- always stretching 10 minutes before each cardio or lift
(abs=est 25minutes) (other est 1-2hrs,no specific exercises,different daily,but mainly hard hitting ones,in 3 sets-set1-highest weight intensity I can handle,and 2 more sets with it lowered slightly

plan to do this for 6wks and take 1 wk r&r then regroup from experience
Also not counted but for lungs when I go swimming or whatever, hold breath to try to improve air capacity since my lungs are shit. Also while sitting use a gripball or stretch minorly or something

sleep8hrs-always nap 2-2 1/2 hours after lifting and abs are done.

drink lots of water
eat mainly home grilled meats(packaged has too much sodium for me at the rate I eat it) and carbs=buns+bread loaf veggies=anything fruits=everything, except watermelon

eat every 2 hours est, about 3800 cals a day(im small like 5'11 134lbs,but always good appetite, never "really full" trying to keep it chemical free, trying to be somewhat natural, and only no-no is tons of fat or sugars and of course smoking.

I dont "do" but I want to try,not really looking to become a monster, just some size, mainly endurance and the happy happy properties given by cardiovascular activity.

What do you think?I mean my heart wont explode or nothing at this sudden abrupt change in lifestyle will it?I know it will be tougher than shit to stick to but thats something I got to deal with

also not wanting to take any drugs or anything with this, only thing I plan to take is multivit, alpha lipoic acid(300mgs) for when I take my creatine(5gs) after lifting(with orange juice probabally since sugar is supposed to help it get there. Fishoil(low doses,400mg a day) also. And of course 2 protein shakes a day, with bcaa's and glutamine+extra glutamine with them

I know most of you bodybuilders are not too fond of cardio, but it is really important to me because I really need to strenghten my lungs and heart for 3 reasons

1-I smoke, definetnly gonna have to quit, this makes reason #2 much worse
2-I have chronic bronchitis/minor asthma(dont require inhalers or nothing, only if extremly dusty or evil cats around) so I figure cardio activity would help strengthen my bodys ability to fight that
3-I hear cardio activity helps your brain produce serotonin, which I am in at high demand for right now,and my other only option is meds, which some of the sides I am prone to,and is still doesnt fill the gap,so

I mean I have 24hrs of everyday available to me so.
Trying to plan this out so maybe I can start fixing my life, not looking to impress people on the beach or be on a magazine cover or anything.

i don't think there would be anything wrong with running a 2 day split like you proposed, but are you planning on moving on a 6 day or 7 day cycle? as in, is there a day 7 or do you just go back to day 1?

the first 2 weeks i'd take it easy on the weights. get used to the motion, don't worry about how much you're pushing. all your weight should be light enough that you can hit 2-3 sets of 10 and have fuel left in the tank. this will just help get you accustomed to the movements and you won't tear yourself up in the process, which could kill any plans for working out that you have.

i'd also suggest a different rep scheme. after you've gotten your body "broken in" i'd suggest moving to a 12, 10, 8, 5 rep scheme for each exercise, increasing weight each set. I'm biased towards this, as i've used it myself, and i like the way it affects my body. i feel it allows me to do more work and hit fatigue or damn close to it on every set. when i try to do 2-3 sets of 10 at the same or increasing weight, i seem to run out of gas in the middle of it.

anyway, those are just my opinions on what i think would make the transition easy on you. i started back up in the gym 7 months ago. i had worked out on and off when i was younger but never had a set routine or decent diet, so it didn't really do much for me. the past 7 months, with knowledge i've gained here and elsewhere, i've made what i feel to be impressive gains in size and strength.

so take it easy to start off and get accustomed to it. check out www.exrx.net for some templates if you don't like what you've seen here. i got my first routine from there and eventually went to 5x5.

oh, and one more thing....

don't forget DEADLIFTS and SQUATS  :D

Your first concern should be trying to cut out the smokes. They are going to kill anything you do to build your lungs up. I know that it's hard, but you need to do what you can to limit their affect on you.

Second, look at your diet. You want to try to get rid of the breads from your diet, especially if they are white breads. Try to get most of your carbs from vegtibles. Check out the diet board, there is a lot of great information there about good carbs and such.

Thirdly, I would be afraid of doing any heavy cardio three times a day. If you're doing one intense cardio session a day, and then the other two are just walks or something along those lines, that's fine. The weight training seems ok as long as you don't over train, because that will increase your fatigue problem.

Finally, do your best to get out of the house and involve yourself in something. Find an interest that will get you out and around other people. Sometimes that can be more benefitial than all the medicine in the world.

Good luck. :)

big4life, good call on this one, i kinda missed it. i'm currently quitting myself. i say currently quitting because i'm still on the patch. good luck. it sucks that it's so hard to quit doing something that's so bad for you.

i think a lot of us need to take that advice actually. i know i spend too much time here on EF :D

couple of things to add. besides recording your weight, i'd recommend taking measurements of your arms, legs, chest, stomache, and get a body fat measurement if you can. track it over time as well as keep a written journal of your routine (i printed out a spreadsheet to keep things simple, plus i plug it all into the computer every few weeks so i won't lose it). in addition to that, take some pictures of yourself. i'd say at the most once a month, more like every 2 months or so. keeping a journal of your routine, body measurements, and some pictures can really pick you up if you start thinking that all the hard work you're putting into lifting and staying in shape isn't paying off. if you do those things, you've got solid concrete proof of your progress. kinda hard to see how your body is changing because you see yourself daily, so doing these things is for pure motivation and a great pick-me-up when you start thinking that you're not growing or getting stronger. doing all of this has encouraged me to keep giving my routine 100% effort every day.

keep everyone posted. i've learned a lot from these guys here.
