Hell, I would just put on some grits and hook up the Xbox and he and I would get along great.
Here is a true story, that I know some of you are going to call bullshit on, but on every piece of respectability I have shown on this board, I swear it is true.
Ronnie had just won his first Mr O. He was in Atlanta working out at Ropemans Fitness on Buford Highway. I was there training with two other individuals who would much later (then, but no it is actually very recently) turn IFBB pros themselves. (Without naming them, just look at the latest new rookies from the Atlanta area in the last two years)
At this time they were struggling to even get a second look on the national scene. So we all finish our workout and go up to the office up front that these two share as they work there as PTs. Ronnie comes up and asks if he can join us in there since he finished working out and he wants to get away from the random people taking his picture on the gym floor. We say sure why not. So he sits down, digs out his postworkout meal - fish, rice and a jug of koolaid. We get to shooting the shit. The guy that turned pro first goes "hey I want to ask you something and if you don't want to answer, that's cool ok?" Ronnie says ok. He goes "What do I need to do to turn pro? What I got to use?" Ronnie doesn't even look up from his dish, he says "get a pencil and piece of paper."
For about 30 mins Ronnie talked nothing but steroids, insulin, gh - growth hormone (somatropin) - , and cycle shit. Which I can honestly say that if he was telling the truth, and I have no indication that he was not telling anything but, then there is more anabolic androgenic steroids knowledge and advice on this board than the entire top 10 of the Mr O possesses collectively.
Since moving from Atlanta to South Florida, I have met other pros as well that, if they are comfortable with you, they will tell you pretty much the exact same thing. Nothing really differs except the last 2 weeks of contest prep.
It is all pretty basic and what it really comes down to is the fact that professional bodybuilders are born, not made. Their entire regime is very basic, it is diet and training that people fuck themselves over with and restrict their gains.
