I've found that the first date after a breakup is always hard. You're usually still thinking about them, and if you're gonna be able to patch things back up, forget about who you're out with. I'd be interested to know how many people actual end up staying with the first person they go out with after a breakup. My girlfriend/future wife was my first date after my last breakup, but it's different because she was and is my best friend.
